70% of the net profit is paid to the seller after deducting essential costs such as payment-gateway (PG) fees and taxes.
Upload your sheet music files in the Artist Center and they will automatically be registered on the service. The Artist Center is only available on the website.
Automatic notifications are not available yet. Fans can follow you or save your scores to their wishlist, and new uploads appear on your artist page and in the score listings right away. Follower and buyer notifications are in development.
You can adjust discount rates for individual sheet music and use the collection feature to bundle multiple pieces by category. You can also upload performance videos from YouTube, Shorts, and more.
First Chorus is actively pursuing comprehensive licensing agreements with major copyright trust organizations (such as KOMCA) and publishers, so artists can focus on transcription and arranging without copyright worries. Until formal agreements are in place, we recommend focusing on original compositions or public-domain works. If you upload transcriptions or arrangements of existing pop songs or jazz standards, please note that a listing may later be suspended or its sales temporarily restricted at a rightsholder's request.
The Artist Center dashboard provides various sales data including sales by country, search trends, and traffic distribution to help you build smarter sales strategies.
You can receive your earnings via bank transfer to a Korean account. After registering as an artist, set up your payout method in the Artist Center dashboard.
